For artists
Upload a single, an EP or a whole record — it's live the moment you publish.

The first 500 accounts keep an early member number on their profile — the order you joined in, permanently. It can't be earned later.

Upload only what is yours. Your own recordings, or music you hold the rights to. Not someone else's release, not a remix you have no licence for, and not unreleased or leaked material.
Artwork counts too. The cover has to be yours or licensed. A track with borrowed artwork comes down the same as a borrowed recording.
Credit honestly. Publish under your own name. Do not upload as, or imply you are, an artist you are not.
Mark explicit tracks. There is a switch when you upload. Use it — it is the only thing standing between your track and somebody's kid.
No hate or abuse. Nothing that attacks people for who they are, and nothing that harasses or threatens anybody. This one costs the account, not just the track.
No spam. Not duplicate uploads, not silence, not adverts. Castunes is for recordings.
What happens if you break these. The track comes down and you get a message saying why. Repeats are counted. A pattern costs the account — and anything under hate and abuse can cost it the first time.
If we get it wrong. Reply to the message, or email castuneshelp@gmail.com. A track taken down in error goes straight back up.
Copyright holders. If something here infringes your rights, email castuneshelp@gmail.com with a link to the track and proof of ownership, and we will remove it.
What we keep. Your email, username and profile; music and artwork you upload; and your activity — likes, follows, playlists and what you've listened to.
What we don't. No selling data, no ads, no third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
Your history. It builds your home shelves. Two switches in Settings control what others see — totals on by default, recently played off.
Google sign-in. Google gives Castunes your email and name to create the account. Nothing more, and nothing goes back to Google about what you play.
Your uploads. They stay yours. Uploading lets Castunes host and play them, nothing beyond that, and you can take a release down whenever you want.
Deleting your account. Email castuneshelp@gmail.com and everything attached to it is removed.
